Examples of Points of Interest
Scanning guidelines:
- The route should start and end in the same location.
- Prop open doors prior to scanning.
- Try to make loops/zig-zags.
- Try not to move while taking a panorama to ensure the images are clear.
- Capture at least one panorama per room and preferably two to three for larger spaces to ensure the entire unit is captured.
How to scan multiple units in a single scan?
- If the units are located on the same side of the corridor, try to capture them as a single scan.
- Capturing panoramas in the doorways between rooms will allow for better coverage of small rooms and will reduce the number of panoramas required in large rooms.
- Capture panoramas as close to the center of the room as possible to provide the best coverage.
- A few panoramas should also taken closer to the walls to provide a clear picture of either the close or far wall.
- Capture additional panoramas near the kitchens and bathrooms where there are more electrical and plumbing elements.
