The shell list view provides an additional way to review your observations and can be accessed by clicking on the List View button at the top of the Shell Overview or Shell Map View pages.
From the list view you can organize your open observations by sorting (red box) or filtering (green box) any of the columns using the buttons in the column header.
Filtering Your Data
When clicking on the filter button from the table header a pop-up will open allowing you to choose the parameters you'd like to filter by. Once you've made your selection, choose DONE to save your filter choices.
Viewing a Single Observation
Clicking on a single observation will open its observation page. From there you can view its details, update its status, assign it, or add a comment.
The list view also provides additional functionality that is not currently supported by the Map View:
Bulk-Editing Observations
To edit multiple observations at once, select all of the observations you'd like to update.
A bulk-editing menu will then open allowing you to:
- Add these elements to the punch list.
- Assign these elements to a user and add a due date.
- Change their status.
- Add a comment.
In order to save your changes, you MUST click APPLY at the end of the menu.![]()
Tip: If you have filters active when making a bulk-edit the updated elements may no longer appear on the observation list. Adjust your filters to view them.
Generating Reports
The list view also allows you to generate an observation report of select observations to share with a trade or other team member. Select the observations you'd like to export and click the EXPORT button on the bulk-edit menu.
