- Remove the SD card from the drone, insert it into the controller, and enter Step 5: Upload Images.
- Select the capture height (the elevation at which the flight was completed)
The app will default to the typical elevation of 50ft.
If you are unsure or if the capture was performed at multiple elevations, it is better to under-estimate the flight elevation
- Clicking next will take you to the "Select Images" screen.
- Click on "Choose Images to Upload" to select the images you want to upload from the SD Card.
Images MUST be selected from the SD card, if they are selected from any other location an error will appear. Please return to image selection and select the images from the SD card.
- The Captureapp will begin processing the images
The images are NOT being uploaded at this stage
- After the images have finished processing, proceed to "Verify Coverage & Upload".
The verification process filters the data to provide the optimal coverage of the images captured significantly reducing the number of images required for upload. It also returns a coverage map, indicating if each portion of the deck was properly captured and can be processed for verification.
If you made a mistake in your selection and want to remove the current selection, click on the trashcan icon.
If you have scan data in multiple folders, you can add images from as many folders as required by clicking on the "Choose images to upload" button. Each unique folder will be presented as its own row in the selected data area.
- After the verification process is complete, you will be taken to the "Coverage Verification" screen.

If you are satisfied with the coverage, click "Yes - Upload Images" to begin uploading.If you are attempting to upload images to a scan where you've already uploaded those same images, you will see the following error:
You can then choose to either Skip the duplicates or Replace all images.
If you accidentally chose the wrong pour area for uploading, you may see the following screen instead of the coverage map. This indicates that you may be uploading to the wrong pour area. Please double check and if confirmed, proceed with the data upload.
- When the upload is complete, the following screen will appear to indicate that Siteaware has received your scan data.
