The blue dimension measures the distance from the installed location of the element to the Nearest Gridline
To help the field team verify the observation in the field, Siteaware provides a Blue Dimension to identify the distance from the element's installed location to the nearest gridline.
In the example shown below, the blue dimension shows the distance to gridline G. If the layout shop drawings show the distance to this gridline you can easily identify the deviation and move the sleeve to get it back within tolerance more easily.
